Assignment

This year's program is again focused on Choosing Your Own Book in one of the 5 engaging/ staff selected topics areas. The topics are crafted to help you wonder, investigate, construct, express, reflect, and connect with the topic and book you choose.

*The book suggestion list has possible discussion group topics attached to each book.

Discussion Groups: At the start of the school year, all GHS students will participate in a discussion group with their homeroom class. The GHS staff will participate in leading, co-leading, or helping with discussions.

This is worth 1 raffle ticket. Your ticket will be placed into a raffle to receive a kindle fire.

Exit Ticket: During the summer reading discussion groups, you will complete an exit ticket where you will write inquiry questions about other students’ topics and the things you learned from peers about other topics during the discussion. This is worth 1 raffle ticket. Your ticket will be placed into a raffle to receive a kindle fire.
